A useful quotation begins with a clear description of the application. Capacity alone does not specify an IBC.
Describe the contents and process
Identify the liquid or material, concentration where relevant, process temperature and cleaning method. Material compatibility must be reviewed for the intended application; the use of 304 stainless steel alone does not establish suitability for every chemical or food-contact process.
Choose the physical format
Select a capacity from 500 to 1500 L. The 500 L range includes vertical and horizontal formats. Listed wall thickness options are 1.5 mm for the 500 L models, and 1.5 or 2.0 mm for the 800–1500 L models. Confirm the final construction in the order documentation.
Specify the connections
Describe how the container will be filled, emptied and cleaned. Include connection sizes, valve requirements and the seal material you need. The listed standard seal is EPDM; compatibility should be checked against the contents and operating conditions. Filling openings up to DN400 appear in the quotation range, but the supplied opening and dimensions must be confirmed on the drawing.
Complete the commercial brief
- Model and quantity.
- Destination and required delivery timing.
- Handling, storage and packing requirements.
- Required drawings, inspection records and application-specific documentation.
Food-contact or dangerous-goods requirements need an explicit review. Do not assume a general product description establishes certification for your order.
