WHY STAINLESS

The IBC you know.
Built for more cycles.

Plastic and composite IBCs remain practical where low weight and low upfront cost matter. Stainless steel becomes more attractive when the container is expected to be cleaned, reused and kept in service repeatedly.

Reuse

Can be reused or reconditioned, but bottle condition and prior contents matter.

A rigid metal tank supports repeated cleaning, inspection and reuse.

Barrier

HDPE can absorb or allow permeation of some substances and may retain odors.

A non-porous metal surface offers very low permeability and does not absorb odors.

Heat & UV

Performance is more sensitive to sustained heat and UV exposure.

The tank body tolerates higher process temperatures and is not subject to HDPE-style UV embrittlement.

Cleaning

Surface wear and material compatibility can limit more aggressive cleaning methods.

The smooth metal surface supports thorough wash-down and many repeated cleaning cycles.

Material compatibility still comes first. Some chemicals may be better suited to specific plastics or a higher stainless grade. Confirm contents, temperature, seals and cleaning method before ordering.
